Sticks & Glass Skills Hub: Creative weekend courses for young people with SEND in Leeds
Four supportive, hands-on courses designed for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Delivered on Saturdays from 10:00–14:00, each course is taught by experienced trainers who are fully DBS certified. Small groups, accessible facilities and tailored learning ensure a safe, inclusive environment where participants can explore filmmaking, media, live broadcast and post‑production skills at a relaxed pace.
What to expect:
Practical, step-by-step sessions suited to different ability levels
Hands-on use of industry-standard equipment and software
Clear routines, visual supports and trained staff to promote confidence and independence
Opportunities to create short projects to showcase new skills
Friendly, accessible location in Leeds with travel and support advice available
