Sticks and Glass Skills Hub, launched early 2026, builds on the success of the award-winning Sticks and Glass production facility to offer an immersive centre for craft, technology and professional development.
Located in the heart of Leeds, the Skills Hub brings together hands-on workshops, specialist training suites and industry-standard equipment so creatives and practitioners of all levels can develop their skills with us.
Designed around the same state-of-the-art principles that earned Sticks and Glass its accolades, the Hub features working production studios, dedicated teaching spaces, advanced and industry standard technology and flexible co-working space for collaborative projects. Courses range from introductory taster sessions to advanced professional and craft based programmes, all taught by experienced practitioners who work within the production facility and in industry.

At Sticks & Glass Skills Hub we’re not a classroom pretending to be a studio — we are a fully working production and post‑production facility. Our courses take place on live systems using industry‑standard kit, so you learn on the cameras, consoles and software you will actually use in the workplace. That means hands‑on experience with broadcast‑grade cameras, lighting and audio, live control rooms and edit suites running the latest production/post tools, under the guidance of trainers who still work in the industry.
You’ll train within real workflows and tight deadlines, gaining practical skills in a production environment rather than simulated exercises. This bridges the gap between learning and employment: graduates leave confident with portfolio pieces created on professional kit, ready to step into freelance or in‑house roles without a steep equipment learning curve.
